FastTrack Advising is a dual enrollment consultancy. One subject, and every client who has to act on it: the family planning one student's credits, the school building a program, the college running one, and the agency writing the rule.
Families and students
A plan for one student, checked before anyone registers
The roadmap is a written plan for one student: three careers the student would consider, the degrees that lead to them, the colleges that are realistic, and the courses to register for next term, each one checked against the transfer rules of the colleges the family names. It is presented live, handed over in writing, and followed for thirty days while the student registers.
Families who want the firm in the picture through the rest of high school continue on a monthly retainer: registration checked each term, activities that build toward the careers on the list, and introductions to people doing the work.
Schools and counselors
Parent nights, counselor training, and program design
A parent night that sends families home knowing the deadline and the first course to take. Counselor training on the rules of the state's program and the transfer questions to settle before a student registers. Program design for a district that wants its dual enrollment offerings to add up to a credential or a year of a degree.
The firm has given more than two hundred presentations to students, parents, counselors, and school boards.

Program review, design, and management
A dual enrollment program is run by one college, and its choices about eligibility, advising, articulation, and the handoff with partner high schools decide whether the credit counts for the student. The firm reviews existing programs against those choices, designs new ones, writes the family-facing explainer, and manages a program under contract where an office needs the capacity.

Briefings, testimony, and analysis
Briefings and testimony for agencies, legislators, and boards. Analysis and sourcing for researchers and journalists. The work draws on the statute locator and the research library on this site, and on testimony before the Minnesota legislature that contributed to six changes in state law.

What the firm does not do
Applications, schoolwork, and contacting a school on a student's behalf stay with the student. A plan a student cannot run alone does not survive the first semester, so the firm builds plans that they can.
