Dual enrollment deadlines, by month

Dual enrollment deadlines are set by your state and by the college your teen enrolls in, so there is no national calendar. The date families miss most is the notice deadline, the day the high school has to be told. Every date below is read off a state page here, and each one links to that page.

States that name no date

32 of the 50 state pages here name no specific day. Where the state sets no single date, the two that matter are your college's application deadline for the term and any district form that has to be signed before it. Your counselor and the college's academic calendar are where those live.

Before you plan around a date

State rules move, sometimes in the middle of a legislative session, so confirm any date on this page with your district before you build a schedule around it. Each state page lists the state and college sources its facts were read from, and the month they were last checked, so you can take any line here back to where it came from.

Meeting the deadline gets your teen into the course. Whether the credit is accepted by the college they transfer to depends on which course they took, and that is the work we do with families.

Get a reminder before each deadline

Every date here is a day a form is due, usually well before the term it applies to. Sign up and we send a note ahead of the ones on this page.
